The Body Shop Nomadic Goddess Warm Glow Bronzer

Product Description:
  • Best if you want to: Create a sun-kissed glow with a natural-looking bronzer, handmade and slow-baked for up to eight hours of deliciously rich color.
  • What it is designed to do:
    • Community Trade organic olive oil from Italy helps to condition the skin.
    • Community Trade shea butter has antioxidant vitamins A and E to help protect and nourish skin
    • Community Trade marula oil from Namibia helps to repair skin's moisture barrier, leaving skin soft and supple.
Price: $28.00 / Php 1,200.00

This is a baked mineral dome shaped bronzer with golden brown, beige and pink swirls that comes in a transparent case. I bought the shade 02 Warm Glow since the SA told me that Warm Glow will suit my skin tone better than with 01 Golden Bronze.

When I first tried it on, I noticed that the color is very subtle but you can layer it or add a few more swipes if you want a deeper color. I probably wouldn’t use it as a basic bronzer but I think the color is dark enough to contour with.

You could also use this as a blush or a highlighter. I normally use this over my blush to add a shimmery effect or I sometimes use it alone for a perfect sunkissed glow.

The only thing I didn't like about this product is the staying power, average staying power of this is around 4 hours, and then it may need a bit of touch up.

Overall, I like this product and will use this every summer.

Living in a tropical country like the Philippines where summer is sizzling hot makes my foundation slide off all the time after a couple of hours, so finding the right foundation that can withstand humidity is a big challenge for me. Good thing Shiseido has come up with a very water resistant liquid foundation that can make every woman still look beautiful even on a hot and humid day.

My thoughts:
I can say it was love at first try! It has become my go to foundation that I happen to reach for everyday. I bought this in SP30 and it perfectly matched my light/medium yellow skin tone (NC20). The formula is light and a bit runny.

It provides medium coverage and does not slide off my face even on a really hot weather. The coverage is really good and it leaves a very nice matte finish. I don't have to apply concealer with this, as this covers most imperfections.

This is definitely a must-have and will be my go-to foundation every summer.

How to Apply:

Step 1-   Shake the foundation bottle well to mix the formula.

Step 2 - Squeeze a small amount of the foundation onto your hand.

Step 3 - Put small dots on your nose, cheeks, forehead, chin and neck

Step 4 - Blend it well using the sponge applicator or foundation brush.

Benefit Posietint

 Product Description:

Liqui-gel formula blends to just-picked perfection on all complexions and lasts for hours. This kiss of see-through poppy-pink tint brightens cheeks and lips.

My thoughts:
I love this product! It gives me a natural flush of pink. The color is subtle so you can build the color to achieve the pinkish flush you want. This one stays for a really long time unlike other blushes that I've tried. It's a stain so it leaves my skin a natural pinkish color even after washing my face.

How to apply:

Cheeks
Brush 3 strokes on the apple of your cheek and blend with fingertips. Make sure to blend quickly because it dries really FAST and will leave a pink mark on your face if you fail to blend it immediately.

Lips
Dot on lips and blend with your fingertips, you may add more if you want a deeper pink color

Tony Moly Crystal Light Pink Beam

Tony Moly Crystal Light Pink Beam is a sheer, shimmering pink highlighter. It has a creamy consistency and it’s easy to blend.

 How to apply:

Put 3 dots along your cheek bone, starting beneath the center of your eye and moving up along your cheekbone.

Blend it well with your finger in an arch along your cheekbone & up toward your temple. You can also dab & blend it on the inside corners of your eyes, along your browbones and bridge of your nose to achieve the soft dewy look you want.

The shimmer is subtle and it doesn’t look too frosty. It gives my skin a nice sheen and a youthful glow. This will work best with light and medium skin tones
